GUIDE TO YOUR MINI SESSION
Mini Session Guide
Mini sessions are designed to be simple, relaxed, and fun! Since we have a shorter amount of time together, a little preparation goes a long way in helping us make the most of your session.
Arrive on Time
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so you have time to park, get everyone settled, and be ready to start at your scheduled time. Because mini sessions are booked back to back, arriving late may mean less time in front of the camera.
Dress for Comfort
Choose outfits that feel like you and allow you to move comfortably. If we’ll be walking, exploring, or moving between photo spots, comfortable shoes are a must!
Soft neutrals, earthy tones, and coordinating colors photograph beautifully. When in doubt, choose comfort over perfection, you want to feel like yourself.

Come With Positive Vibes
The best photos happen when everyone is relaxed and having fun. Don't worry about getting everyone to behave perfectly, look right at the camera or making every moment look picture perfect. Let the kids be kids, snuggle your people, laugh, and enjoy the time together. I'll handle the rest!
Keep It Simple
Because we have limited time, I recommend bringing only what you need. A small touch up kit, water, and any sentimental items you'd like included are plenty.
Trust the Process
You don't need to know how to pose! I'll give you gentle prompts and direction throughout the session so you always know what to do. My goal is to capture genuine connection and the little moments that feel like your family.
Most importantly, don't stress about getting the perfect photo. Come ready to enjoy time with your family, and we'll make some beautiful memories together.
