I first picked up a camera as a teenager—just a simple point-and-shoot—but instantly felt something click. What began as a creative instinct soon became a lifelong calling: telling stories through light, color, and connection.
With a Bachelor’s in Fine Art and a background in painting and drawing, my work is grounded in intentional artistry and a deep appreciation for authentic moments. Over the years, photography has become not only my craft but also a way to preserve life’s most meaningful chapters.
Today, I lead The Lehman Collective alongside my husband, Billy—my partner in both life and business. We live just outside Charlottesville, Virginia, where we’re raising our family nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Whether documenting a destination wedding in Italy, a mountain vow exchange, or the first tender days of parenthood, we believe in creating timeless, heirloom imagery that feels both artful and deeply personal. The Lehman Collective is rooted in legacy, family, and the beauty of a life well lived—preserved for generations to come.

An important part of my story…
When I met my husband Billy in 2015, a bearded Appalachian Trail thru-hiker, our early days were spent hiking The Blue Ridge Mountain trails, photographing nature, and dreaming of a life rooted in the beauty of nature. Those shared beginnings not only shaped our relationship but laid the foundation for the way we tell stories through imagery.
What began as a love for capturing intimate moments in wild places has evolved into something much deeper. Now, as we grow our own family, our work is grounded in legacy—documenting the kind of memories that make life meaningful. From wedding days to everyday milestones, we’re here to preserve the beauty of your unfolding story, just as we do our own.
